How To Use Crestie Life

You can use crestie life either as a sole substrate or as part of a bioactive setup. Either way, its moisture holding abilities are a fantastic aid to maintaining humidity in your terrarium.  

When you use it in a bioactive setup the open structure of this substrate aids air movement and moisture gradients. It also helps to provide a more acidic environment in the soil that promotes the growth of beneficial bacteria that will aid in the breakdown of waste as well as supporting a healthy clean up crew.
