Why Use A Livefood Care Pack
If you find your livefood is deteriorating quickly after purchase it is most likely because it needs extra hydration and nutrition. Whilst livefood is delivered in a condition ideal for feeding to your pet reptiles, amphibians and exotics, the longer you keep them the more they'll use up that internal goodness. That means they have less nutritional value when you feed them to your pets, and may only last a few days in the tub.
By providing hydration with the HabiStat H2O balls your livefood can get moisture without the risk of them falling into a tub of water and getting stuck or drowning. The Insect Food provide extra nutrition and keeps them in great condition to feed to your pets.
How To Use
To use the insect food, simply remove the lid and place the pot into your livefood tub. Next, take the lid off the H2O balls and place a few into a shallow dish or bottle top then pop that into the base of the tub. Replace these daily to ensure the moisture is retained. The bottle top or dish will prevent the moisture coming into contact with any substrate or food, but remove anything that looks like it has got wet at any point to prevent mould growth.
