Which Animals Benefit From This Light?
The Exo-Terra day & night LED light has been designed specifically for animals that are naturally nocturnal and don't required UVB from their light source. This includes a lot of inverts, particularly scorpions, as well as snakes, some frogs and geckos. The blue LEDs create a naturalistic moonlight shimmer that helps your pet navigate their enclosure and engage in natural behaviours such as hunting and mating. In contrast, the bright white LEDs recreate daylight, signalling time for your pet to rest, but unlike other sources of daylight, this lamp produces minimal heat thereby reducing the risk of overheating.
Energy Efficient LED Lights
Because this lamp uses LED bulbs it lights up quickly and uses less energy than many traditional light bulbs. They also have a longer average lifespan. A self adhesive bracket is included with the setup and the lighting unit is controlled with simple touch buttons.
