Why Use A Heater Guard?
To ensure your pet reptile is kept in ideal conditions it is important to have a heat source within the vivarium, and for many animals this will take the form of a ceramic heat bulb or basking lamp. This items can get extremely hot and, unfortunately, your pet doesn't always realise the potential peril it is putting itself in when it decides to crawl up to this heat source.
Enclosing the heat lamp in a protective cage will give you peace of mind as well as ensuring your pet is always kept safe. The ProRep heater guard has been specifically designed to ensure that this protection doesn't come at the cost of less efficient heat distribution.
Key Features
With four brackets this heater guard can be fitted flush to the top of your vivarium. There are double security fastenings to prevent accidental access from your pet plus a unique hinged door that lets you quickly and easily access the bulb without having to remove the whole guard from the vivarium each time. At the back of a guard there is a small cut out for the heat lamp cable.
Specifications
Each heater guard is 12cm in width. The standard rectangular and circular guards are 16cm in height whilst the large rectangular guard is 22cm high.
