Why Feed Waxworms

Live waxworms are tasty little bundles that are slow moving and high in fat, making them fantastic for tempting picky eaters or supporting older/recuperating animals.

How To Keep Waxworms

When your waxworms arrive simply keep them in a cool dark area until you are ready to feed them to your pet. The fridge will be too cold, but a cooler area of a house is a great way to slow down their metabolism and extend their longevity by preventing them pupating and turning into moths. Generally, waxworms won't need supplementary feeding.

What Can Eat Waxworms

Feed waxworms to Bearded Dragons, Leopard Geckos, White's Tree Frogs, inverts and a range of other reptiles and amphibians. Since they are high in fat they should only be fed sparingly as a treat and should form part of a broader, balanced diet to keep your pets in optimum health.
