Benefits of the Dripper Plant

Arboreal pets such as chameleons, dart frogs and some snakes will only drink from 'running' water and will ignore drinking water provided in a typical water dish or bowl. However, keeping a constant supply of drips and trickles can be hard in a domestic setup. That's where the Dripper Plant comes in. It is a self-contained mini 'fountain' that circulates water continuously without the need for you to be constantly topping it up or mopping up spills.

Realistic Looking Plant

The plant consists of a tier of three realistic looking waxy leaves lined up vertically on a stalk and creating a natural mini cascade that allows water to drip from one to the other, down to a reservoir of water below. This constant flow and resulting droplets of water is what attracts your pet to it for drinking. Once the water is in the reservoir, a small and quiet pump circulates it back up to the top leaf to allow the process to start all over again.

This kit includes the large Dripper plant,  flexible pipe with connectors and the water pump. All you need to do is provide a suitable reservoir, e.g. the Exo Terra Water Dish, and a power source to run the pump.

Important: Do not let the pump run without water.
