These shade tolerant plants have fabulous tropical foliage and a climbing habitat that makes them a great addition to arboreal forest setups. The leaves have a beautiful silver hue which contrasts against the dark green viens. Each grows large enough to provide shade and shelter to animals as well as climbing opportunities for smaller animals such as young tree frogs and crested geckos. What's more, the adpressed climbing habit of this plant - meaning it grows close to its support, makes it ideal for use in terrariums.

They grow best in a chunky soil based substrate such as one that has been mixed with orchid bark, peat, prlite and coconut coir. This allows the soil to be lightlly moist, but not soggy or wet. It prefers temperatures between 15 - 21 degrees centigrade so make sure you plant it away from direct heat sources, at the cooler end of the enclosure.
