Why Use A Turtle Bank?
When you're caring for aquatic turtles, creating the right balance between suitably deep water and an easy to access land area for basking can be quite tricky. Building it up with rocks and pebbles that are prone to tumbling back into the water as your turtle or terrapin crawls on them is impractical and potentially harmful to your pet.
This turtle bank has been designed to sit above the surface of the water, so you don't have to build that transition. It includes a ramp for easy clambering, and is secured to the side of your tank with a sturdy spung angle bracket that has two suction pads. This means you can keep swimming space open under the bank thereby maximising the area your turtles can use in their home.
Unlike a pile of stones and pebbles, the turtle bank can be easily removed and cleaned, and won't create pockets of stagnant water or collected waste. Because it is made of a pet safe material you can be sure it will be sturdy and hardwearing.
