Why Use A Dehumidifier?

When you have a fully planted terrarium and regular misting, raising humidity can be quite simple. But what happens if that humidity gets too high? Aside from being detrimental to the health of pets and plants, it can also lead to increased bacterial and fungal growth in the terrarium. By placing a dehumidifer on top of the mesh of the terrarium you can draw cool air inside and help keep your humidity under control. For best results use with a thermostat/hydrostat and misting system for optimum control. Can also be used in desert environments.
