Woodlice Care

If you want to keep woodlice in your bio-active set up you will need to provide them with a humid area as well as drier sections of the enclosure where they can hid away under logs, bark and other decor. Whilst they will aid in cleaning up the tank by eating dead and decaying matter, they also benefit from their own insect food. These are fast breeding woodlice but make sure they have plenty of hiding spaces if you want to build up a community of them as their small size and soft body make them a tasty, calcium rich treat for a wide range of exotic pets.
