A fascinating succulent that mimics a rock, with thick, split leaves that store water. Ideal for bright indoor displays or succulent collections, and highly drought-tolerant.

Care Guide:

• Prefers bright, indirect to direct light; can tolerate full sun for short periods.
• Avoid prolonged harsh afternoon sun which can scorch the leaves.
• Water sparingly, allowing soil to dry completely between waterings.
• Reduce watering during dormancy (usually summer).
• Use well-draining succulent mix with grit or sand.
• Thrives in low humidity.
• Ideal temperature: 18–27°C.
• Protect from frost and cold drafts.
• Plant in a shallow pot with drainage holes.
• Do not overwater—split rocks are very prone to rot if soil stays wet.
• Rotate occasionally for even sun exposure.

Common Issues:

• Shrivelling: Underwatering (especially during active growth).
• Mushy leaves: Overwatering or poor drainage.
• Stretching: Light too low.
