Unlike the naturally moist and humid atmosphere of a tropical or rainforest setup, bioactive desert setups are often harder to maintain. ProRep Bio Life Desert has been especially created to allow you to reacreate a moist zone in the base of the terrarium to mimic the natural moisture found underground in the desert. This moist zone provides a reservoir of water that can be accessed by plants and microorganisms to support the self-sustaining ecosystem required in a bioactive setup.
